South Devon is a beautiful part of the UK. With sandy beaches, pretty towns and plenty of fantastic attractions to visit, it is the perfect holiday destination! Whether you are looking for an adrenaline-fuelled weekend or a tranquil getaway, this place has it all on offer. So that you can make the most of your trip, we have put together a handy little location guide to South Devon!

When to Visit

With the weather in the UK being somewhat temperamental, unfortunately, you can never guarantee sunshine. However, South Devon can be enjoyed come rain or shine! In the summer months, a walk along the coast is delightful; take in the scenic views and enjoy some fish and chips by the sea or treat yourself to an ice cream! Squidge your toes in the sand, take a dip in the ocean and enjoy the Devon sunshine. In the winter months, this beautiful part of the country can be appreciated at a slower pace and with quieter surroundings as you avoid the abundance of tourists. Put on your welly boots, hat, scarf and gloves and take to the stunning countryside. With many walking trails amongst picturesque surroundings, there is no better way to enjoy your time in South Devon! Finish your exploring by stopping in a pub and enjoy a well-earned pint or glass of vino, and unwind by a toasty fire.
